Le Panda House Murals

【Saiki city in Japan】

120000 pieces of tiles, children of six countries.

The slide show video that summarizes the production of the murals of Le Panda House. At the beginning of the video, we introduce a little about the project when Saiki’s children, which was a joint project with American artist Ben Volta, drew line drawings expressing the outstanding energy of athletes. The artist Yasuyuki Sakura composed these line drawings drawn by the children for the front wall surface, combining 70,000 tiles one by one with the muralist team of the OB of the Lumbini Parents Association, and carefully finished the process to completion. The other mural made with 50,000 glass tiles on the south side of the house that appears in the latter half of the video is a reproduction of the attractive characters drawn on the murals in different countries by children from all over the world in the previous Chara Rimpa Project.
